Elite Staffing is looking for an RN to fill travel nursing assignments within the greater Monroe, Louisiana area. Monroe is a great destination because of its rich entertainment culture. Monroe features the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo ,

several museums, including the Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum, The Biedenharn Museum and Gardens , Aviation Military Museum, the Masur Museum of Arts , and the Northeast Louisiana Delta African-American Heritage Museum, is home to the Louisiana Motor Speedway and hosts Deltafest.

The RN will be responsible for:

• Monitoring, recording and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
• Maintaining accurate, detailed reports and records
• Modifying patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
• Monitoring all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity
• Instructing individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and develop health improvement programs.
• Preparing patients for and assisting with examinations or treatments

Requirements :

• Current licensure in practicing state and/or nationally certified
• Meets educational requirements established in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year nurse experience
• Must have and maintain current CPR certification
• Pass post-offer drug test, and pass post-employment physical exam if required.
• Must be able to travel as needed to perform job.
• Must possess problem-solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's family members, and facility staff.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
