Description: Baton Rouge General Medical Center is currently seeking to employ CNA- Skilled Nursing right now, this position will be placed in Louisiana. The CNA- Skilled Nursing works collaboratively with and under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) to participate in the delivery of exceptional patient care on! the Skilled Nursing unit (SNF) for the improvement of quality of life for patients and families. The Skilled Nursing unit requires a current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) status with the Louisiana State Nursing Registry.
Provides direct patient care and assists the nursing staff with patient duties including ADL's
Maintains patient records and charts to ensure an accurate record of the patient's medical treatment. Performs clerical or Unit Clerk duties as assigned.Education/Experience Requirements: Previous recent experience in an nursing home or hospital setting strongly preferred Must be an actively registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Strong computer charting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations
