Description: The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana is hiring OR Tech right now, this job will be placed in Louisiana. Under general supervision, functions as a member of the sterile team, creating and maintaining a sterile field, supplying the surgeon with the needed instruments and supplies in accordance with the established Polici! es and Procedures of The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. Assists in transportation and nursing care of surgical patients of all ages, as well as assisting with and assuming general departmental duties and responsibilities.

Participates in Cardiovascular Continuous Quality Improvement.

Qualifications

A.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Certification by Association of Surgical Technicians preferred Current CPR,

He

althcare provider.

B.

Education:
Graduation from a school of Surgical Technology preferred.

C.

Experience:
Minimum of one year Operating Room experience preferred.

D.

Special Qualifications:
Good communication skills, both orally and written. Basic computer skills. Ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care.
