Description: Mercy Regional Medical Center is in need of CNA (PRN) MED/SURG right now, this vacancy will be placed in Louisiana. Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Assists in the care and transportation of patients. Assists nursing units in the retrieval of supplies/equipment in accordance with hospital policy. Assists licensed nursing personnel in carrying out nursing process. Works under supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Is a strong patient advocate. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times Education: Minimum requirement of formal training as a nurse assistant with successful attainment of certification from a state-approved
school (or enrolled in a accredited school of nursing).
Experience: Current certification in BCLS.
Current CNA certifi! cation in state of Louisiana.
Skills: Demonstrates the ability to utilize tact and genuine caring and concern in dealing with patients and families.
Demonstrates knowledge of safety in care of patients with knowledge of hospital-related equipment/supplies used in patient care.
Utilizes proper body mechanics and safety measures in delivery of patient care.
Must be able to work under physical and mental stress at times.
Must not resist change unduly.
