Participate in all phases of the Cardiac Rehab program including in-patient education and activity progression, out patient monitoring, progressive exercises, an! d patient and family education. Collaborates with other members of the Cardiac Rehab multidisciplinary team to assist in the patient’s transition from the acute cardiac event through rehabilitation.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Louisiana licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years adult critical or acute care experience required. Experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation recommended. BLS and ACLS certification required. Must be knowledgeable of cardiac anatomy, physiology, surgical interventions, and cardiovascular disease risk factors. Must demonstrate knowledge of cardiac dysrhythmias. Must be experience in patient and family education and have the ability to work with people in a patient-centered care environment for positive health and well-being.
