Description: East Jefferson General Hospital is employing Patient Care Technician right now, this vacancy will be arranged in Louisiana. Under the supervision of professional and practical nursing staff,works collaboratively to perform basic care for the adult and geriatric patients' needs, including but not limited to comfort, hygiene, safety, and environmental cleanliness. Completes documentation of patient related tasks. Performs all functions delegated by the nurse staff and adhere to the policies and procedures and scope of practice.

Must have a high school diploma or GED. Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Previous training and/or one year experience is similar role is highly preferred. Must maintain current American Heart BLS or Heartsaver AED where approved.
