Location: Monroe, Louisiana

Description: Louisiana Delta Community College is presently looking of RN Adjunct Faculty right now, this job will be reside in Louisiana. Further informations about this job opportunity please read the description below. RN Adjunct Faculty needed for the Fall 2017 semester. Positions are available in the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program, with potential of teaching day, afternoon, evening, and even possible weekend clinical rotations and/or classes.

The Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) ASN program prepares students to take the NCLEX-RN exam and become quality and safe registered nurses! The LDCC ASN program is located in beautiful Northeast Louisiana, and housed at the Monroe Campus on Millhaven Road.

The School of Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, & Math consists of: Registered Nursing, Practical Nursing, Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic (EMT), Barber Styling, Forensic Science & Technology, LA Transfer of Science, and LA Transfer of Arts - Criminal Justice. Some of the major employers of the LDCC ASN program graduates include healthcare entities such as: St. Francis Medical Center, Glenwood Regional Medical Center รข€" IASIS Healthcare, University Health Conway, along with many others. Examples of Duties:

- oversee, guide, and evaluate the preparation and performances of nursing students in the clinical and/or classroom settings.
- teach up to 29 contact hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

For clinical/academic nursing courses, all candidates shall:
- maintain an active, unencumbered registered nursing license from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN).
- hold a graduate degree in nursing.
- have a minimum of two years of nursing practice as a registered nurse in a clinical setting prior to the appointment.
- function under the same policies established for other faculty in the parent institution, if hired.
- complete the LDCC online application process and agree to the required background check.
- complete the LSBN Faculty Qualification form, supply a current curriculum vitae, along with official transcripts of each attended university to the ASN Program Director.
- have team-player qualities.
- possess intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and/or Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience in teaching is always a plus!

Supplemental Information:

Salary for academic/developmental courses: $600 per credit hour
Salary for technical courses: $30 per hour
