Description: ZOLL is currently seeking to employ RN/CATH LAB/ECG/Contractor right now, this career will be placed in Louisiana. RN / CATH LAB / ECG / PER DIEM ContractorZOLL, manufacturer of the worlds first wearable defibrillator, is seeking Patient Services Representatives to train patients in the use of the Life! Vest. This is the perfect opportunity for the healthcare professional with patient care, teaching experience and a flexible work schedule, to supplement his or her income. A typical LifeVest patient is in the hospital awaiting discharge, and the PSR sets up the equipment and trains the patient and caregivers in the use of the system. A session normally lasts between one and two hours, and the compensation rate is currently $165 per patient fitting. PSRs retain the flexibility to accept or decline assignments as their schedules dictate. Candidate needs to have daytime availability, especially on all Thursdays.RN / CATH LAB / ECG / PER DIEM Major Responsibilities: Accept or decline assignments based on your availability Daylight availability and flexibility very important Willing to travel Manage equipment inventory Contact caregivers and family to schedule training sessions Program equipment according to the physicians orders Measure patient and determine correct sizing Trai! n the patient and other caregivers in the use of the system Su! bmit the required paperwork to ZOLL CMS
Nursing degree preferred Case Management Experience a Plus 1-year patient care experience Professional demeanor and confident personality Some aptitude for operating electronic equipment Cardiac care experience not required Transportation to patient location Daytime availability, especially on Thursdays Spanish fluency a plus, but not required
