District Sales Manager

The District Sales Manager will lead a team of pharmaceutical sales professionals for their district, managing approximately 10 - 11 sales professionals in promoting and selling ethical prescription products to general practitioners, specialists and other healthcare professionals. The DSM will develop and deliver the sales strategy and serve as a key information holder regarding the marketplace and thus, be able to react appropriately to that market as needed.

EOE
4 year college degree (B.A., B.S. or equivalent)
5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience with 4 plus years of successful District Manager experience.
Proven pharmaceutical sales management success; and strong organizational skills.
Excellent presentation skills and ability to motivate a sales force as demonstrated by previous proven success.
Residence within the geographic territory is required
Preferred Qualifications

• Previous cardiovascular or metabolic sales management experience
• Previous product launch experience
