• Maintains current licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana
• Maintains current BLS Certification
Advanced certification preferred if appropriate for area of clinical practice

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Prompt and regular attendance according to policy
• Comply with dress code and appearance standards
• Interact with patients, customers, the general public, management, and team members in a professional, courteous, and tactful manner
• Work with integrity, uphold LGMC’s mission, values, and maintain confidentiality in all situations
• Follow safety & security policies & procedures, immediately report suspicious activities and unsafe conditions. Use equipment, tools & materials properly; use and/or wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Participate in all mandatory job training and meetings as directed
• Adhere to requirements, policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or other Hospital/Clinic practices.
Maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and! nursing units.
• Maintains acceptable standards of patient care.
• Exercises appropriate use of Universal Precautions, personal protective equipment, and other safety guidelines/regulations as required by OSHA and other enforcement agencies

EQUIPMENT OPERATED:

• General office equipment
• Computer
• Diagnostic testing equipment
• Various types of medical instruments & equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis
• May be required to assist in the turning, lifting, or moving patients as well as

walking about from patients’ rooms, as well as to and from various hospital areas

7am-7pm
