Description: Louisiana Delta Community College is presently looking of Instructor, Certified Nurse Assistant right now, this occupation will be placed in Louisiana. Louisiana Delta Community College is seeking a CNA Instructor at our Tallulah Campus to prepare students for employment in long-term care fac! ilities, home health agencies, acute care facilities, and hospitals where basic bedside nursing care is needed. Classroom instruction includes an introduction to health care, essential OBRA skills required for certification, body structure and function, and the job-seeking process, with an introduction to computer skills, as it relates to the health care industry.

Examples of Duties:
Instructional/Teaching Performance

• Utilize innovative, effective, and equitable teaching techniques
• Follow course syllabi and outlines

Instructional Development

• Develop Curriculum Guides, course syllabi and outlines, and other instructional materials
• Prepare course offering schedule based on Curriculum Guides

Instructional Management

• Maintain an active advisory committee with required composition of membership, and hold a minimum of two meetings annually
• Maintain appropriate student recor! ds, i.e., grades, attendance, placement, completion, and licen! sure statistics (if applicable), etc.

School or Classroom Management

• Maintain student discipline

Student Guidance/Advising Activities

• Provide career counseling and academic advising

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED, four years or the equivalent of four years full-time work experience in the field related to the occupational program.

Supplemental Information:
LPN; must obtain DHH Train the Trainer.
