Unitech Training Academy in Lafayette, licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Regents and accr! edited by the Council on Occupational Education has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, instructor with a passion for teaching Physical Therapy! Physical Therapy Technicians, Licensed Practical Nurses, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply.

Job Description :
Maintain a roll of all active students
Prepare a weekly lesson plan
Teach from the prescribed Physical Therapy Technician Modules
Counsel students
Plan and implement field trips to local physical therapy clinics and chiropractic clinics
Establish and maintain rapport with local physical therapy clinics and chiropractic clinics
Prepare weekly exams and maintain grade reports
Attend monthly staff meetings, job fairs, and other organization sponsored meetings and activities
Prepare individualized reports and transcripts
Maintain professional appearance and attitude in order to set example for students
Provide quiet and o! rderly classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
Enforce ! policy and procedures as set forth by Unitech Training Academy
Maintain clinical records and check on progress of students at clinical sites
Maintain updated information concerning new advances and procedures in the field of Physical Therapy through continuing education
Assure TB Test results are on file before clinical training begins.
Monitor grades and attendance
Set up, and bring students on field trips to assist in the learning process
Submit grades and original sign in sheets to the Director once a student has completed the program

Qualifications :
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be knowledgeable in computers.

Education :
Bachelor’s degree or four years documented experience in the related field and certifications.
