We are currently seeking a Territory Aquatics Specialist to work out of our New Orleans, LA office. Full-time, benefits eligible position with a variable schedule.
The Health & Safety Territory Aquatics Specialist's primary responsibility is coordinating all Health & Safety Aquatic programs in the assigned geography and selling the program to Business and Community Leaders. This includes hiring and managing instructors and seasonal aquatics staff, coordination with organizations and facilities for access to water and ensuring safe and profitable aquat! ic programs. Under the Direction of the Aquatics Manager, this! position also facilitates instruction of Water Safety, Lifeguard and Aquatic Examiner training in assigned area. This position ensures a full complement of qualified training personnel to meet consumer demand for Health & Safety aquatic services. This includes the recruitment, development and support of Instructor Trainers and advanced level instructors. All Aquatics personnel in the assigned Territory report to this position. Quality assurance and resource optimization of Health & Safety aquatics training personnel in the assigned territory.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources/Training, or similar discipline preferred.
- Current licensure in Lifeguard and WSI-IT required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance, logistics or training position and 1 years experience in a sales position. American Red Cross PHSS experience delivery Red Cross services under granst/mulitple fundi! ng streams strongly preferred.
- A minimum 3 years of supervisory management experience.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and motivate teams under tight deadlines. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Work in sales, education or service industry is a plus, but not required.
- Basic computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs.
- Ability to travel 25=50%.
