Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults,
adolescents and children. Since 1970, Ri! ver Oaks has established a
tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric
illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma
based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders, River
Oaks has provided quality treatment to service individuals suffering
from mental illness, and/or addictive disorders. Situated on a 14
acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient,
day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive
outpatient).

Seeking Nurse Manager for Dual Diagnosis Program-
qualified RN candidate to work in a free standing psychiatric
hospital with patients suffering from substance abuse/ chemical
dependency discorders. Responsibilities include, but not
limited to: ensuring quality patient care in a therapeutic mileu
while supervising all aspects staff (scheduling, evaluating and
encouraging personal development, etc.) Works with the Pr! ogram
Director to formulate goals and objectives for the u! nit.

Requirements

BSN preferred with an active, unencumbered Louisiana
Registered Nurse license. Extensive supervisory experience; must have
experience in a psychiatric facility for a minimum of three (3)
years. Experience caring for patients with chemical dependency,
substance abuse and related addictive disorders a plus.
Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and
the ability to be readily understood are essential. Must
be able to to work well in a stressful environment.
