Description: Amedisys is at present recruited Clinical Services RN Specialist right now, this position will be placed in Louisiana. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance through research, data collection, development and coordination of related processes and reporting requiremen! ts; developing and maintaining policies, procedures and forms; assisting with overall administration of performance improvement programs; monitoring of quality patient care standards and ensuring clinical and regulatory compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as with accreditation standards.

Qualifications:
1. Current and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
2. Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documents the following: The mutual recognition model of nurse licensure allows a nurse to have one license (in his or her state of residency) and to practice in other states (both physical and electronic), subject to each state's practice law and regulation. Nurses must legally reside in a NLC state to be eligible to have a multi-state license. See list of Nurse Licensure Compact States
3. Five (5) years work experience preferred at a home health agency or hospice agency.
4. Excellent nursing skills and knowle! dge as defined by generally accepted nursing standards.
5.! Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with all members of staff, visitors and associates.
7. Excellent customer service skills when responding to questions and other inquires from internal and external customers.
8. Strong organizational skills
9. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
10. Strong computer and software skills preferable.
